I believe the counseling room is a safe environment for healing conversations to take place. I believe that therapeutic conversations can facilitate clients’ reconnections to their true selves. I understand the significance of being a counselor who is an open-minded, holistic mental health professional. I believe in the power of nature as an ally in facilitating well-being.
It's my mission:
As a professional counselor, it is my mission to make a difference in peoples’ lives through providing a safe therapeutic space and personal empowerment. Furthermore, I strive to create and maintain an environment that is warm, welcoming and valuing diversity. I see my counseling practice as a spiritual, emotional and physical sanctuary offering the highest quality care to all who desire transformation in their lives. I work diligently to provide relief of human suffering and instill new found meaning and purpose. With an additional degree in pastoral counseling, I am trained to invite the spiritual dimension into the counseling room if the client wishes to do so.
The objectives of my counseling practice are to:
a)address behavioral and psychological issues that are impacting peoples’ lives
b)address individual needs, note progress and launch treatment goals
c)encourage self-reflection, openness to change and a sense of individual responsibility for ones personal growth and meaningfulness in life.
