1.Letting Go: spiritual tools for managing anxiety and stress. How do we discover calm and peace a midst life’s uncertainties? In this interactive workshop we will enhance our ability to cope with anxiety, worry and unease by exploring the psychology behind the tension. Furthermore, we will learn about spiritual tools and practical steps to “let go and let *God". New format offered now!
2.Crossing the Desert: spiritual wisdom to inspire resilience and well-being. This topic integrates the ancient wisdom of the Desert Father’s and Mother’s of the 3rd and 4th century of the early Christian movement and modern-day theories of well-being. We will address life's many "deserts" - loss, change, stress, spiritual isolation - and discuss the desert’s ability to bring new life and new found spiritual connection. Wisdom elements include silence & solitude, prayer & meditation, simplicity, non-attachment and acceptance. 5. Meeting God in Nature. How does your relationship with nature affect your spirituality and psychological well-being? This workshop will review contemporary scholarship on the relationship between nature, spirituality and well-being. In addition, attendees will experience nature through guided meditation, experiential and journaling exercises.
