Heidi works collaboratively with her clients, using therapeutic tools and techniques from multiple effective counseling theories. Specifically, her treatment approach integrates mindfulness practices, cognitive-behavioral treatment methods and fundamental tenets of existential theory. This approach has shown to be very successful for individuals 18 and up.
Dr. Schreiber-Pan has completed extensive research in the field of nature-based counseling. Therefore, she often includes nature as a healing component of treatment. Furthermore, her doctoral training at Loyola University, Maryland included training in spiritually-integrative counseling techniques which allow the client to draw from one's spirituality and/or religious background, if so desired. Consequently, Heidi's counseling approach is unique, effective and comprehensive.
